vivo’s X-series has always been known for its powerful camera setups and premium features. Now, fresh leaks suggest that the vivo X300 Pro is gearing up to once again be the “most powerful imaging flagship.”
On July 1st, a digital blogger revealed that an engineering model of a new smartphone will feature a large R-angle flat display. This screen won’t just look great but will also offer a premium feel in-hand.
Although the exact model name hasn’t been confirmed, based on leaks and user speculation, it’s highly likely that the device is indeed the vivo X300 Pro.
This smartphone is said to include a new ultra-large base main camera sensor designed to significantly improve low-light performance and detail clarity. Additionally, the 200MP telephoto macro periscope lens from its predecessor will be retained.
Interestingly, vivo is reportedly working on a dual 200MP camera system, meaning both the main and telephoto lenses could offer ultra-high resolution. This would be a first-of-its-kind camera setup, pushing boundaries in telephoto clarity, low-light photography, and videography.
The vivo X200 Pro featured a Zeiss 200MP APO Super Telephoto lens with the Samsung HP9 sensor, built on a 1/1.4″ base and supported CIPA 4.5 professional-grade anti-shake technology.
Now, the X300 Pro is expected to be upgraded with a new S5KH telephoto lens, which promises even better performance than the HP9.
The vivo X300 Pro is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 flagship processor, which is expected to compete directly with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in terms of performance.
However, there are a few changes this time: the device will not use the 0916 motor or the symmetrical 1115 coaxial dual speakers.
The blogger also mentioned that vivo will be using a new custom screen panel, offering improved visual quality and viewing angles.
According to the leaks, the vivo X300 Pro is expected to launch between late September and early October 2025. This positions it perfectly for the festive season and could be vivo’s biggest flagship bet this year.
