OPPO is actively working on its next Reno series, and early leaks about the Oppo Reno 15 lineup suggest that the company is planning significant upgrades, especially in the camera and design departments. The current Reno14 series received a great response from users, particularly due to features like Live Photo and its premium look, and now the Reno15 series is expected to raise the bar even higher.
According to reports, the Oppo Reno 15 series will include two models — one with a compact 6.3-inch flat display and another with a larger 6.78-inch flat screen. Both are likely to feature AMOLED panels with high refresh rates. This dual-approach seems to be targeting different user types: one for those who prefer compact devices, and the other for users focused on media consumption or gaming.
The biggest highlight of the Oppo Reno 15 could be the camera system, where OPPO is rumored to introduce a 200MP main sensor — a major jump from the 50MP setup seen in the current Reno14 Pro. Along with that, a periscope-style telephoto lens might also be included, offering high-quality optical zoom. So far, this feature has been limited mostly to OPPO’s flagship phones, but now it might make its way into the mid-premium segment.
In terms of design, OPPO is reportedly planning to offer a metallic mid-frame and wireless charging support for the first time in the Reno series. These upgrades could not only enhance the device’s premium aesthetics but also improve its overall in-hand feel.
To compare, the Reno14 Pro currently features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, up to 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, a 6200mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a triple 50MP rear camera setup (wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto). So if the Reno15 series does bring a 200MP camera and a periscope lens, it would mark the most significant upgrade in Reno series history.
As of now, OPPO has not officially confirmed anything about the oppo Reno 15 series, but based on the current leak cycle, a launch is expected by the end of 2025 or early 2026. Pricing is rumored to fall between ₹35,000 to ₹40,000. If these leaks are accurate, the Reno15 could become the next big mid-premium smartphone that brings flagship-grade imaging and design to a broader market.
