OPPO Reno15 Specs Camera Details with 200MP Sensor and Danxia Lens Setup"

Long-time followers of the OPPO Reno series are well aware that the last two generations have seen little to no upgrades in camera hardware. However, this time things are shaping up to be quite different.

According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, the OPPO Reno15 Specs series may finally bring a major leap forward — with a 200-megapixel main camera. Yes, it looks like the Reno lineup is ready to join the high-res camera race.

Oppo Reno15 Specs , Features

Currently, there are two primary 200MP CMOS sensors available in the market:

Samsung HP1 (1/1.22-inch sensor)

Samsung HP2 (1/1.3-inch sensor) – recently used in the Galaxy S25 series

Interestingly, Sony is also testing its own 200MP sensor, which raises the possibility that the Reno15 series could debut with Sony’s version — and OPPO might use that as a major selling point.

Several reports also suggest that the Reno15 series might include the Danxia Original Color Lens, previously seen on the OPPO Find X8 Ultra. This advanced lens captures not only the subject’s color information but also the environmental hues in the frame. Combined with OPPO’s imaging algorithms, it helps accurately process complex lighting and reproduce natural skin tones, especially in night or low-light scenarios.

Some users speculate that this “flagship hardware” might also be ultrasonic in-display fingerprint technology, which would be another solid upgrade.

When it comes to display sizes, OPPO may play it conservative:

Standard Version: around 6.3 inches

Pro Version: around 6.78 inches

Both models are expected to feature flat screen designs. The larger 6.83-inch size seen in limited models might not make a return this time.

Leaks also suggest that the Reno15 series could bring wireless charging support and a metal mid-frame. As for the processor, users shouldn’t expect a flagship SoC, since Reno models typically focus on the mid-range segment.

If these leaks turn out to be true, the OPPO Reno15 series might not just appeal to camera enthusiasts — it could also attract users looking for a premium experience without the flagship price tag.
