The brand has created a distinct identity for its unique design and minimalist approach, and now it has been reported that these new smartphones could be launched in June before 2025.
Information about the new smartphones has surfaced on the IMEI database, in which model numbers and some special features have been revealed. According to some reports, a new phone model from CMF by Nothing, which is listed with the name ‘A001’, could be CMF Phone 2. This phone is expected to be an upgraded version of the CMF Phone 1, and will come with the high-performance Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Through this chipset, users will get a fast and seamless experience.

The new CMF phone is spotted with model number ‘A001’ on the IMEI database, which differentiates it from Nothing’s earlier IMEI listings ‘A059’ and ‘A059P’. This model can be an upgraded version of CMF Phone 1, CMF Phone 2.
It is said that CMF Phone 2 will come with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. CMF Phone 1, which is currently in the market, is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. According to the Geekbench listing, ‘A059’ can be launched as Nothing Phone (3a) and ‘A059P’ can be launched as Nothing Phone (3a) Plus. These model numbers are associated with the codenames ‘asteroids’ and ‘asteroids Plus’.

According to reports, the primary camera of Nothing Phone (3a) will come with 26mm focal length, which will support 4K 60fps video recording and 1080p at 480fps slow-motion. It is also expected to include Super Macro, Super EIS and Super Night modes. The selfie camera will do 1080p at 30fps recording with 29mm focal length, which is a good option for the mid-range segment.
