vivo S50 Series Design Revealed: New “Confession” Colorway Shines

The vivo S50 series is getting close to launch, and vivo has started showing off what the phones will look like. Recently, they revealed a brand-new color option called “Confession.” This one stands out because it has a kind of colorful halo effect on the back instead of a plain color.

What the Standard vivo S50 Looks Like

• From the official pictures, the regular vivo S50 uses a simple, modern design:
• It has a rectangular camera module on the back.
• The sides of the phone are flat, giving it a clean look.
• The frame is made of metal, which helps it feel more premium.

Besides the “Confession” color, there will also be Inspiration Purple, Serene Blue, and Deep Space Black. These are solid colors, so they look more traditional.

Vivo S50 Pro mini Version Has a Special Design

Before the color reveal, a vivo product manager named Han Boxiao teased the appearance of the vivo S50 Pro mini in the purple color. Unlike the standard S50, which has a tall rectangular camera setup, the Pro mini uses a horizontal Deco design—meaning the entire camera area runs sideways instead of vertically.

Han Boxiao said that while some other phones use horizontal camera designs, vivo’s version has its own advantages—especially because the S50 Pro mini is a small-sized flagship, using a 6.31-inch flat screen. In today’s market, where most phones are big and heavy, this smaller size makes the phone easier to hold and use with one hand.

The Deco camera area is also special because:

• It’s completely flat—there are no camera bumps at all.
• It’s made from aviation-grade aluminum.
• The finishing uses a cold-carving technique, giving it a smooth, unified feel.
