Honor X70i Debuts with Dimensity 7025 Ultra, 108MP Camera & 6,000mAh Battery

Honor has quietly launched its latest mid-range offering in China — the Honor X70i — and it’s got all the right ingredients for anyone looking for a sleek daily driver with long battery life and a crisp AMOLED display.

Sleek Build Meets a Stunning Display

Measuring just 7.29mm thin and weighing around 178.5 grams, the Honor X70i keeps things lightweight and pocket-friendly. It features a vibrant 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution (2412 x 1080 pixels). Honor is also flexing its display chops with support for 10-bit colors, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and an impressive 3,500 nits peak brightness — making this screen bright enough even under harsh sunlight.

Single But Solid Camera Setup

The Honor X70i opts for a no-nonsense camera approach, offering a single 108MP rear sensor with an f/1.75 aperture. It may not have the ultra-wide or macro lenses we often see, but for most users, that main sensor will handle daily snaps just fine. On the front, there’s an 8MP camera tucked inside a punch-hole, ready for selfies and video calls.

Reliable Performance with Dimensity 7025 Ultra

Powering the phone is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7025 Ultra, a capable mid-range chip built for smooth day-to-day performance. Users can choose between 8GB or 12GB RAM, paired with up to 512GB of internal storage, ensuring plenty of room for apps, photos, and videos.

Battery That Goes the Distance

Battery life is a standout here — the Honor X70i packs a hefty 6,000mAh battery, which should easily last more than a day for most users. When you do need a recharge, there’s 35W fast charging via USB Type-C to get you going again quickly.

Modern Software & Handy Extras

On the software front, the phone runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, giving you the latest features and security updates right out of the box. You also get an under-display fingerprint scanner, 5G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and even IP65-rated protection against dust and water.

Honor X70i Price

The Honor X70i comes in three storage and RAM configurations to cater to different user needs. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at 1,399 Yuan, which is approximately $190. Stepping up, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is available for 1,699 Yuan (~$230). For those who need more room for apps, media, and multitasking, the top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at 1,899 Yuan, translating to around $260.

The phone is offered in four attractive color options — Magnolia Purple, Moon Shadow White, Velvet Black, and Sky Blue — giving users plenty of choice in terms of style.

How It Compares to the Honor 400 Lite

Interestingly, the Honor X70i is a tweaked version of the Honor 400 Lite, sold in global markets. While both phones share a similar design and chipset, the Honor X70i gets a larger battery (6,000mAh vs 5,320mAh), but skips the secondary rear sensor and uses a lower-resolution selfie camera (8MP vs 16MP). It’s also a tad heavier due to the bigger battery.

The Honor X70i strikes a great balance between style, performance, and battery life. It may not be a camera powerhouse, but for everyday use — from binge-watching to scrolling social feeds — it looks like a solid pick in the sub-$260 bracket.
