vivo’s 10,000mAh battery phone in testing; X300 series to expand with Max, Ultra and more

vivo is preparing a major refresh across its portfolio, with leaks pointing to a battery-focused iQOO device and an expanded Vivo X300 lineup that includes the X300 Max(S), Vivo X300 Ultra, and a more affordable X300e. Here’s everything that’s surfaced so far.

iQOO Z series: 10,000mAh battery in testing

A new iQOO Z series device is reportedly being tested with a 4.53V single-cell silicon battery rated at 10,000mAh. Typical capacity is said to reach 11,000–12,000mAh, which would make it one of the largest batteries ever seen in a mainstream smartphone.

There’s no word yet on the chipset or charging speeds, but if this makes it to production, battery anxiety could genuinely become a thing of the past. The use of silicon-based battery tech suggests vivo is pushing energy density without drastically increasing thickness.

vivo X300 Max(S): large-screen performance flagship

The vivo X300 Max(S) has reportedly passed China’s CCC certification, revealing several key specs:

  • MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC
  • 200MP ultra-large main camera
  • 50MP periscope telephoto with macro support
  • 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO flat display with slim bezels
  • ZEISS-branded telephoto lens
  • 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner
  • 90W wired fast charging
  • IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance

The device is positioned as a big-screen performance flagship, combining a high-resolution primary camera with advanced telephoto capabilities. The inclusion of ultrasonic biometrics and dual IP ratings suggests a premium build.

vivo X300 Ultra: dual 200MP cameras incoming

The vivo X300 Ultra is shaping up to be the imaging powerhouse of the series. Leaks point to:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8E5 chipset
  • 6.82-inch 2K BOE flat display
  • Dual 200MP camera setup
  • 35mm ultra-large main sensor
  • Large-sensor ultra-wide camera
  • New multi-spectrum imaging lens
  • 100W wired fast charging
  • BeiDou satellite messaging support

The 35mm focal length is particularly interesting, as it’s closer to traditional photography standards and could deliver a more natural perspective compared to typical 23–24mm smartphone lenses.

Reports suggest internal development is ahead of the previous generation, with a tentative launch window around March.

vivo X300e: premium design, lower price

The Vivo X300e is expected to sit below the Ultra and Max(S) models, offering a similar design language at a more accessible price point. Full specifications remain under wraps, but the aim appears to be broad coverage across multiple price segments within the X300 family.

With a potential 10,000mAh iQOO device and a camera-centric X300 Ultra featuring dual 200MP sensors, vivo’s upcoming lineup could be one of its most ambitious yet.

Which one stands out more — extreme battery life or cutting-edge imaging?
