Honor MagicPad 4 unveiled with 12.3-inch 165Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, and 10,100mAh battery

Honor is preparing to unveil its latest flagship tablet, the Honor MagicPad 4, at MWC on March 1, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most impressive Android tablets of the year.

The MagicPad 4 features a large 12.3-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate, promising ultra-smooth scrolling and responsive gaming performance. One of its standout highlights is the design – the tablet measures just 4.8mm in thickness, making it even slimmer than the thinnest iPad Pro currently available. Despite its incredibly thin profile, Honor hasn’t compromised on battery capacity.

Powering the device is a massive 10,100mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The large battery capacity should translate into extended screen-on time, whether you’re streaming, gaming, or working on the go, while the fast charging ensures minimal downtime.

MagicPad 4 is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM. This flagship-grade hardware combination should deliver smooth multitasking, seamless app switching, and top-tier performance for demanding workloads.

For optics, the tablet is said to feature a 13MP rear camera and a 9MP front-facing shooter. While imaging isn’t the primary focus of a tablet, the setup should be sufficient for video calls, document scanning, and casual photography.

The device will also offer a PC Mode, providing a desktop-like interface with support for floating and stacked windows. When paired with a keyboard and stylus, the MagicPad 4 aims to deliver a lightweight productivity experience. Interestingly, it is also expected to support cross-platform connectivity with Apple devices, further expanding its ecosystem compatibility.

More details, including pricing and availability, should be confirmed at the official announcement during MWC.
