OnePlus 15s Tipped to Return With Major Camera Changes

Leaks around the OnePlus 15T have been everywhere, and at this point most of its details feel almost confirmed. But overseas users are more curious about the OnePlus 15s — the slightly global-tuned version that many are wondering even exists.

There’s a reason for the hype. In the past, overseas OnePlus models have sometimes received exclusive finishes, like the stunning green variant of the OnePlus 13s that many fans loved for its premium texture. That’s why expectations around the 15s design are already high. Current leaks suggest it will stick to OnePlus’ clean design language with a metal frame and refined finish, keeping things premium yet minimal.

On the front, the phone is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch 1.5K flat display with a native 165Hz refresh rate. Add to that 1 nit ultra-low brightness support and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and the display experience looks fully flagship-level despite the compact size.

Performance shouldn’t be a concern either. The OnePlus 15s is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Gaming optimizations and advanced cooling are also likely to be included, so even though it’s compact, it won’t feel underpowered.

The main difference compared to the domestic version could be battery capacity. Due to overseas certification requirements, it may stay under 7000mAh, but 100W wired fast charging should still ensure quick top-ups.

For cameras, leaks point to a practical dual setup featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-700 series main sensor with OIS and a 50MP telephoto lens. No unnecessary extras — just a focused, capable system.

If priced right, the OnePlus 15s could easily become a strong compact flagship contender globally.
